Insights-What's the difference between Insights and alerts?

Alerts are found primarily on the View and Focus platforms, and are limit or threshold crossing push notifications powered from KPIs. Managers can create actions for operators for these alerts, but beyond that there is limited intelligence for alerts. Insights are more powerful than alerts and can combine inputs form multiple sensors and KPIs to produce not only warnings when something is affecting plant operations, but can also prescribe actions and consequences based on these inputs. Insights also have the ability to learn and evolve based on actions taken and feedback provided by operations. Alerts are user-configurable, while Insights are configured by Pani for each plants equipment and operations.
